Amber Rose: Okay, so first on the list…the hot-bodied, bald-headed, model-slash-former girlfriend of Kanye West (& at this time reportedly Wiz Khalifa’s fiancé) – Amber Rose. Amber gained her fame by appearing at social events with Kanye. Her alarmingly voluptuous “features” were quickly noticed and her career began to take off soon after. She is now an actress, artist, and model, but what may come as a shocker to many of you was that she was a stripper at the tender age of 15. Appearing on the Wendy Williams show, she admitted that during her young adult life, when her and her mother were down on their luck and living on the streets, Rose used the strip clubs as a medium to survival. Another interesting fact; she was a bonafide lesbian at one period of her life, claiming to have had 2 serious three-year relationships with women before meeting and falling for West.
9. Celebrity Stripper – Kendra Wilkinson
Kendra Wilkinson: A Playboy model, a TV personality, and now a wife & mother. Man! What a combination. However, before this debatably glamorous and enviable lifestyle of “The Sporty Girl Next Door” became what it is, Wilkinson was a stripper. The former Playboy playmate admitted she worked as a stripper during her teenage years, before she was discovered by the founder of the Playboy enterprise, Hugh Hefner, and invited to become one of his girlfriends.

Anna Nicole Smith: Before landing a cover in Playboy, and becoming Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1993, Anna Nicole performed at a strip bar in Texas called Rick’s Cabaret, under the alias of “Miss Nikki” and later “Robin”. She then settled for Anna Nicole as she thought it sounded classier. It was not long before Howard Marshall II, an 88 year old wealthy oil tycoon discovered her flaunting her assets at the bar and asked her to marry him. A short 14 months after the consummation of marriage, Marshall died. After much time in the courtroom, fighting for a sum of Marshall’s money against the sole beneficiary – Marshall’s son, Anna Nicole was allotted $88.5 million dollars. Who knew stripping could pay out that kind of money!

Eve: The female rapper who bears a paw print on her chest was a stripper before making it big in the rap game. Apparently, fellow rapper Mase (former bad boy protégé to Puff Daddy) discovered her working in a strip club and told her to put on her clothes and talk to him. They spent most of the night conversing, and he told Eve she was supposed to lead a different path. Not long after this run-in she auditioned for Dr. Dre and joined the successful group Ruff Ryders as it’s sole female artist.

Courtney Love: Not much of an “omg” factor here. This chic rocker has always been on the provocative side – flashing her boobs at fast food restaurants and acting drugged and disorderly at almost every chance she gets. Once photos surfaced, it was confirmed that the widow of Kurt Cobain & former Hole lead singer was, indeed, a pole dancer at Jumbo’s Clown Room before hitting stardom.

Carmen Electra: Again a name that gained fame from the oh-so-famous magazine ‘Playboy’ and her screen debut on Baywatch. She began working as a stripper in her early years prior to taking off in the limelight. Electra apparently still has a love for the art of striptease and now has her own signature brand of stripper work out videos and custom stripper pole. I’d like to get a personal tutorial from Miss Electra herself.

Tila Tequila: The model who gained worldwide popularity via the myspace craze of years past, admitted to being a stripper. She reportedly told the King-Mag.com: “When I was 18 and still in high school, I was a stripper for a while, because I was trying to save up money to move to Hollywood to become this bisexual Hollywood starlet that I am today.” Well, Tila, you’ve shown girls all over the world that dreams do come true.

Trina: Another stripper turned female rap artist, Trina, was hitting the strip poles in her youth to make that paper before getting signed. A video of her doing explicit acts on stage with Trick Daddy has now surfaced. Yes, hot stuff!

Brad Pitt: Brad Pitt was a nude dancer back when he was in college. Part of a nude revue called the “Dancing Bares”, Brad performed for sorority girls on their 21st birthdays.

Lady Gaga: This starlet is one of the most popular singers of this decade boasting one of the biggest fan-bases of all time…Lady Gaga. She stated in an interview with Fabulous Magazine that girls like her weren’t meant to turn into someone like herself. She announced that she came from a wealthy Italian family and went to a prim and proper rich Manhattan Catholic girls’ school – the same school attended by the famous socialite Paris Hilton. Gaga decided that this life was not for her. She rebelled and moved out of her house at a young age…began using drugs heavily and waitressed and strip danced to pay the bills. She reported, “My act was pretty wild. I’d wear black leather and dance to Black Sabbath, Guns N’ Roses and Faith No More. Very rock ’n’ roll. I don’t like to talk about it too much but there were drugs, serious drugs,” she says. “I wouldn’t want to inspire other people to do the same.” The Lady of the night went on later to say that she discovered personal freedom from the art of stripping and has a strong sense of sexuality and love of the human body.
